OK, so I didn't grow up on a farm and appreciate the sheer beauty of a slow-moving tractor. And, I've seen a few slow races and they're OK, but how can a 'slow-race' be a race, do you know what I mean? It's like playing a hockey game and not keeping score. Now, at the opposite end of the spectrum, there must have been some farmers who were speed freaks which brings me to my question. Say between 1940 and the mid 50's, which tractor was the ultimate speed machine? I mean, we're talking full out on pavement in top gear? Any opinions, experiences, storys, etc.?
