Dad had a 30's something Co-op, the old square front with the plate steel, that would go 50. The Friday tractor that was built some where in Michigan, for hauling orchard products to market as well as working in the orchard, would go in the range of 50 mph. I think that Sherry ran a story a few years back, in the HPOCA mag, about tractor races at Fairs in the midwest. I don't remember the speeds reached in those races but they refered to sliding the rear ends of the tractors on the curves. I also heard referance to a Silver King as a speed deamond but never heard how fast.
