My daily driver/farm truck(I do have a 1 ton gasser that gets started very little) is a 95 Chevy, 4wd, WT with the 4.3 and a 5 speed. It's the throttle body, not CPI and it's pretty weak. It's still a good truck, runs good other than being a little weak. I was considering an engine swap to a 5.7, but a buddy who is a a lot better mechanic suggested changing to the center point injectors. He seemed to think it'd give me what I needed and would'nt be near as expensive or such a big under-taking. Now I know it still wouldn't be anything like the 5.7, but how much improvement would I see over the throttle body?? Any input would be a great help.
