I think some of the guys are getting the cpi 4.3(w) as found in 95 S-10's confused with your 95 4.3TBI(Z) engine in the 1/2 ton W/T.
Anyway,it can be done,but I'd stay with the TBI 350 due to simplicity.The 96 and up 350 has a totally different wiring harness under the hood and dash.PCM is under the hood on 96 and up.Under the dash on yours.Unless you have a complete donor vehicle,forget it.
Stick with the TBI fuel sys and you'll get it done in a weekend.You'll need the 350 rad shroud,radiator,hoses,ECM to name a few things.you might have to lengthen a few cables and wires,but most will reach.
