I have the vortech 4.3 with central port injection in a 95 S-10. If you compare the throttle body 4.3 with the central port it is 190 horse versus 150 or 160 anyway it is a very noticible difference. I might add it is a expensive luxury at about 125000 you have to spend 300.00 to 500.00 on the injection system.
On the other hand I have 260,000 miles on it and it has the origional motor and tranny so really can't complain. It gets pretty tough use also.
