I snapped the pto shaft in half on my 1967 case 430. I have a new on to install, but am wondering how difficult it will be to do. The new shaft has a threaded end on it. I assume the threads hold on a gear that run of of some sort of planatary set up. My questions is can the new shaft be installed without splitting the tractor in half? Andy advice will be appreciated.
