Thanks for the help. I have the manual that came with the tractor, but have misplaced it. I suppose I should buy one ot the IT maunuals. Yes it was the stub shaft. I loaned my brushog to a neighbor and I guess he got tired of breaking the shear bolt off so he put a grade 8 bolt in the shear bolts place. I discovered this after I broke the stub shaft. Thanks again
