Can not really blame it on the lack of rain because I have seen several signs with hay for sale but the price is sure up. While I was at the feed store saturday I saw a sign on the hay they have for sale. $6.99 for small square horse quality grass hay. $13.99 for small square alfalfa.
These high fuel prices has got to be driving the price up. Sure hurting the working man. I would sure hate to see the price in areas where it is in short supply.
What is the price in your area?? If you can even get it.
