I don't think you missed a thing and if you thought you bid too much trying to get it you learned or know what is too much. Find some others you can take more time inspecting and get what you want so you feel better about what you paid for it. Loader tractors are usually going to be a lot rougher shape. Find one that hasn't had a loader on it before if you can. If you want a loader usually farther ahead to buy a later model that isn't all patched up with someone's welding or a new one with quick hitch attachments.
