jeeze.. too many $$$$

I am rebuilding a 390FE for my 73' F-250.. somthing that has some balls and gets more than 10 MPG that my 360 is getting.. it is going to be (from Jegs) $1,300! HOLY COW! for hedders, rings, pistons, lifters, pushrods, intake manifold, fuel pump, distributor, coil, tach & clutch.. short list I thought.. so much for new heads too! O well.. I should be able to get my money back should I ever sell the truck, since I didn't pay much at all for it.. going to have twice what what I payed into the motor..
O well.. won't be the first time I have been near broke..
