What kind of tractor should I buy

Hi, I am looking to buy an older tractor for around the house. I would like to use it for gardning, mowing grass, hauling fire wood and other small chores. Having a bucket on it would be a great toy but not necessary. I like the size of the Farmall Cubs but don't know about thier reliability. I understant that the cylinders are not sleeved on the Farmall Cubs but I don't know if I should be concerned about it. Another issue is not having a three point hitch. Without a three point hitch am I limiting myself to a few implaments and can I find the implaments for a Farmall cub. I am looking to spend about $2000. Any help out there will be greatly appreciated. Thanks,
