Had about 11 grass fires last night in our county and neighboring county to north and a few more we may not have counted. Just dry lightning with no rain and more hot winds today. This is getting old fast. Went to 6 fires last night and lost no homes or barns luckily. It looked bad for a while but after 4 hours we went home but some in other county stayed out all night to watch a giant fence post pile burn down. Less than a inch or so all year so far. Last real rain over a inch was in August. Can count dryland wheat fields left to cut for seed on one hand in area and it's going to be expensive seed and not make much and others is just gone and plowed up already. More trucks to fix again today, such fun... Y'all send some rain this way when you can.
