Whats a TA

Happened to be driving by a local implement dealer's lot today. Noticed a Farmall 706 and JD 24T baler. Waited until I got home to call him. Said he wanted $4250 for the 706. He didn't know how many hours were on it but said the TA was good and the engine had been overhauled within the last two years. Is the TA the transmission? Said he wanted $1200 for the baler. I know very little about balers. Looked clean and that it had been kept in a shed.
