OT - Remote Power Recommendations

Good Morning All,

I am looking for recommendations for a generator. I often have projects away from the buildings and I would like to have power for tools instead of lugging materials back and forth or depending on batteries. Looking for a reasonable cost gas generator that will work when I want it to. Price of a rental is $52/day so I can pay for one of the smaller/less costly versions in about 8-10 days. Just looking for feedback and other thoughts from those who have been down this path before. Right now I don"t anticipate needing much more than the ability to run hand tools (mostly a skil saw) and charge batteries for the cordless drills.
