What kind of planter for pumpkins?

My dad and I run a small hobby farm (10acres), and we are looking for one to 4 row planter that can handle sweet corn, indian corn, squash and a couple different varieties of pumpkins.. So I have a lot of different seed sizes.. So far we have been looking at IH "cyclone" planters. Like the 400, 800, 900, to pull behind my farmall 300. Does anyone have any other suggestions for planters? A fellow mentioned a JD 1240 will work also.. Can anyone give me more information on that kind of planter?
