In addition to what has been said, I would wonder what the power output of the tractor is, as tested... not rated. Could it be turned up, and is simply working too hard? Additionaly, it may be possile for the cylinder wall to be perforated and some compression could be pressurizing the cooling system in this manner rather than the head, since you know the head is good. Ford had some trouble with perforated cylinders about 20 years ago. Perhaps Case did as well, although that is a long shot. Like the other fellas have said, you may just have a bad sender/gauge. Check it with a known gauge, and go from there. Good luck. Rod
