That one of mine acted absolutely normal in every other way.

The temp gauge showed cold at start up, took a period of time to come to temp and worked just fine running mid gauge until I pulled it hard. Then it slowly just went over to the "hot" peg.

If I stopped at the end of the field and let 'er idle for a few minutes, it slowly would drop back to mid gauge just as you would expect. Head back up the field and up she would go to the hot peg again.

But, come to find out, the tractor really wasn't getting hot at all.
