McCulloch dies under load

I have a 16" McCulloch that will run for a little while, but then either die on idle or I have to be very careful when cutting because it will die under load. The plug threads are also saturated with oil when I pull it out. I rebuilt the carb and put a new plug in it. Anybody have recommendations on what to check next? Thanks.
