buying a tractor

I have just bought a hobby farm and want a tractor for some basic chores around the property. The actual farming is being done by a neighbor so all I want is something for digging some post holes, pushing some snow, and maybe mowing the lawn. A bucket in the front would also be good. I have looked at the 8n but am not sure if I would need more. Also I am worried that there might be a safety issue. Any thoughts? Thanks/Doug
