It is generally agreed that 8Ns tend to be overpriced for "using" tractors. When I first got in the game I was looking at 8Ns for $3000-3500. I found a 4000, with 6' bush hog and snow blade, for $2500. The 4000 has almost twice the HP as the 8N and still has easy availability of Ford parts. If you can find something in the 800/4000 series, take it over any of the Ns for actual using. If your main goal is to go to FCA shows, by all means get an 8N.
