Your uncertainty about the 8N is well founded. They are simple but lack a lot of 'modern features' and creature comforts that a more modern tractor will afford. I can sell 8N's all day long for a little over $3300. For under $4500 you could get an 885 or 990 Case David Brown with a diesel, independent hydraulics and a 2 stage clutch. Plus they're 25 years newer.
