cracked block

i found a crack in the left side of the block on my recently acquired 1940 farmall A. this is not a major problem since i do not use this tractor on any type of a regular basis. it seeps a little antifreeze after warming up but only enough for it to drip onto the ground slowly. the crack is about mid height on the engine just slightly rearward of center and is about three inches long. does anyone have any suggestions to fix this crack enough to keep the engine from blowing up until i am ready for restoration and possibly another block? many thanks
