I got an unexpected phone call from my buddy tonight about some Bull Calfs that the local Amish guys have for sale. We bought nice Holsteins from them before since that is what we have since we raise them to 700 LBS for the neighbors. The problem is the calfs are Jerseys. ??? ??? ??? This area is nearly all Holstein and nobody knows much about Jerseys.......Do they put on weight as well as the Holsteins ??? ??? ??? They only want $20 a head for 5 of them. I can't pass that up, but I won't look into it if it will turn into a money pit. Bottom Line.....Would you raise them to 700 LBS Thanks TP from Central PA
