TP.........the biggest complaint that I've heard about Jersey for beef is the consumer doesn't like the "yellow" fat. I don't know about the feed efficency. Size wize, remember Black Angus used to have a reputation for being small too. Some of the tastyist BBQ'd steaks I've had were home fed locker Jersey steers. They were so tender and sweet. But then I also like lamb. Go figger.........Dell
