I use a 80,000 BTU furnace ( about 17BTU per cubic feet) in my garage and my next one I will do the same but I think I will make a small shack connected to the garage with a good sealing door sow I can have my aircompressor and furnace in it only and the compressor wont be sow loud and then I can weld and paint with out to much worry of the furnace catching the fumes on fire and it will keep it cleaner in side when I weld
