lots of insurance companies wont insure with a stove of that type installed in garage also..mine wont anyway..other thing is with the furnace can leave the thermostat on to keep from freezing water and paint and stuff inside but would have to constantly be adding fuel to the stoves to keep temp above freezing..dont know how long they would burn on a hopper of pellets or corn
