It is a tar baby tactic to acuse a person of something they didn't say. Kindly wait until I say lawyers don't affect manufacturing decisions before acusing me of it. It certainly is quite possible that manufacturers of stereo components had a substantial influence in pushing the now conventional 12v negative ground system we use today. However, that rational suffers the shortcoming of the fact that positive ground vehicles continued in production up through the 1980's in Europe from various manufacturers. Those vehicles came complete with diodes, transistor radios and even an alternator or two (gasp!).
