Nolan.......see my answer to Mark re: negative ground. It had to do with early 1956 transistor radio technology and power transistor amplifiers. Semi-conductor technology has inproved since then, BUT they still need heatsinks. Do you honestly believe that lawyers don't affect corporate manufacturing decisions?
