Nolan.......see my answer to Mark re: negative ground. It had to do with early 1956 transistor radio technology and power transistor amplifiers. Semi-conductor technology has inproved since then, BUT they still need heatsinks. Do you honestly believe that lawyers don't affect corporate manufacturing decisions? Try telling that to Microsoft or Intel or Boeing or Firestone or Ford.........respectfully, Dell
