The weatherman finally gave us a week with no rain. Lots of hay was cut and baled, some second and much first, too. The big farms chop their haylage and their third cutting is done. I had my first all baled by mid June, but the rain started for most of July on a regular basis. Don't have but 1 beef cow and her calf, and I work by myself, so no sense in making haylage. I lined up the machinery I used this year, like I have done many times in past years. Interesting to see which tractors were paired with which implement. My 826 hydro is normally on the baler, but it developed a PTO problem. L-R 1456, 1086, 784, 656 that Dad bought new, and 966.
