I should have cut my second cutting when we cut wheat. Was a good week for it. I was more concerned with not having sprouted wheat so got it done instead. Looking back Probably should have worried more about the hay. wheat was terrible this year. I think they damaged the yield when they burned it spraying last spring. It looked like they burned it off to plant. Weather didn't help either as it got cold right after they sprayed it for about 10 days. I do now have about half of my second cutting in the barn now though.
