Still first cutting out around here. I've been trying to get wheat finished but Tuesday I could barely get enough through (due to being tough) the combine to take a sample to the elevator. 18.5 percent moisture. Finally was able to get rolling Thursday so now I have enough to load a semi. Wanted to cut wheat again today but the soybeans desperately needed spraying in one field as wet ground conditions interfered until today. I keep saying next year will be better but now I will just keep my mouth shut. The state of NY was nice enough to outlaw dicamba use after July 1 so another wrinkle in this year. 2-4D beans for next year I guess. When I try to count on pre-emerge chemicals the time to apply gets fouled up one way or another. Time to check my Powerball numbers.
