-The adjustment is when the handle is moved forward there is a catch it should latch into.At that point there should be pressure holding the arm of the PTO, Lengthen adjustment until it stops going a turn at a time but do not get excessive.If you have made the adjustment as long as it can get then it is time for tear down. Another thing the woodruf key back by the pto arm can get worn and loose, happened to me a few times. It takes a hardened bolt there, that needs to be checked also.
