Well, you've given me hope but I don't know how to adjust and of the linkage. I took some photo's, I'll try to add however, I have not had luck adding photos to this site. regular emails, easy but here, not so much. So I pulled the handle back and see that the thumb release is not used. I had to pull very hard to get the lever back to and lock the arm back. Likewise, forward stops me about half way and I push really hard, it snaps loudly and moves forward, but not so far I need to release it with the button.
