An off the wall question -- what about a combine to push snow?

I'm tired of pushing snow in the winter on my antique tractors without cabs ... and the wind blows mighty hard during NE winters ... which makes it very cold and creates drifts!

I was at several farm sales recently and saw old combines with cabs sell unbelievably cheap ... noboby seems to want them.

Would they work for pushing snow? Do they have the horsepower and traction?

My idea would be to purchase and old combine with cab and strip off all the extras ... just use it to push snow, especially off large areas and long driveway.

Has anyone ever tried this? ... Any ideas on type or size of combine ..

Any ideas on a blade ... how to hook it up so that it can be angled from the cab?

A lot of us have found ways to recycle trusty old tractors ... how about saving an old combine for snow removal?
