I am considering buying another tractor but not sure exactly what I need/want. My big tractor (JD 4020D) is used to pull the baler and kicker wagons but I would like a second tractor to haul the wagons back to the barn. In addition I would like (if possible) for the second tractor to have a finish mower so I can mow my pasture, around the hayfield and cornfield, etc. so the small tractor needs a mower. I was thinking about a tractor with a belly mower already attached thinking it would be cheaper than buying a tractor and 3ph mower separately. Is this a good or bad assumption. Basically I want to get a tractor that isnt too big and expensive yet big enough to pull a loaded hay wagon. My hayfields (about 15 acres) are sloping so it would need to go up hills but they are huge hills. Is a Farmall A too small to pull a loaded haywagon? Any suggestions, I am a fan of both Farmall and John Deere but it doesnt have to be one of those, I am also a fan of spending as little as possible without buying junk.
