Recently rebuilt my motor. Used rope style packing on rear main.and my motor is leaking oil from rear main. I ordered the improved rear main kit which comes with formed rubber instead of rope style. Can i install without dropping the crank. Or can I just install new rubber gasket in the cap and will it seal to the top half of rope seal?
