In 1595 a landowner in the English Midlands decided to create an ornamental garden at his home. He took 250 acres of land and planted orchards, dug fish ponds, designed a maze and built a summer house so that his guests could sit and talk and enjoy the gardens. The summer house was never completed as he went to jail in 1605 accused of treason. This picture shows the summer house as it is today. It was never completed and has never been used. There are no kitchens this is just a building for the enjoyment of his guests.
