My 43 year old daughter had to jump off of a runaway horse over a year ago. She thought the horse being very calm she could ride him with a halter instead of walking him a few blocks to his corral. She knew better, she has been around horses since she was about 8 years old. The horse took off and nothing she could do would stop the horse. She jumped off rather than running into the road. The ankle was broke so bad it came through the skin. It never healed. The doctor said there was nothing more than they could do.She had ankle fusion surgery about a month ago. Just wondering if anyone you knew had that surgery, and how did it turn out? Stan
