Hope you're at least covered insurance wise - wouldn't make up for the ruined trip, but would make it a lot worse if you weren't.
Unrelated, but the title of you posting reminded me of some guys I know several years ago who did a big hunting trip in Canada. Drove 13 hours to the border only to find out the border guards wouldn't let one of the guys in because he had a DUI on his record.
That surprised everybody.
The lodge/guide service was all paid for, so nobody really wanted to turn back.
That poor )#(*$#rd had to rent a car and drive the 13 hours back home alone, cursing all the way.
The others did all pitch in and cover his portion of the trip - which wasn't cheap.
