Well I got back yesterday evening when buddies and I were supposed to be snowmobiling in northern Quebec for the week. At 2:00 AM Sunday one of the guys noticed that the truck and enclosed four place trailer were gone, along with our four sleds inside. We were in a very out of the way place as opposed to a road side place, so this was very unusual. We found out that the thieves are usually local and usually get caught, but that the sleds are usually long gone because they are often quickly sold to the Indians on the reservation forty miles to the north. The Indians aren't required to register them. I had always wondered how the Indians and Eskimos that you see on TV with them could afford them.
