Do any of you have fond memories of any particular Christmas or Christmas tree ? One that stands out in my memory is a tree we had in the early eighties .....yes THOSE EIGHTIES!! Times were very hard as we were paying high intrest to produce hogs that nobody wanted. Managed to get a present for each of the kids,but had no money for a Christmas tree. One day I took a load to the local dump and found a discarded Christmas tree at the edge of the burning rubbish. Took it home (smoke smell and all). Wife and kids made decorations from old Christmas card scenes pasted in jar lids and hung a few string of old lights. Best tree ever,even with the smoke scent!! Never forgot it.
