I'm looking for ideas on what might work to spread sand on a 1/2 mile of narrow private road. I've seen a few people with high priced spreaders with electric motors on the back of pickup trucks.
I'm wondering if the PTO powered County Line rotary fertilizer spreader that Tractor Supply sells for $430 might work with sand on the back of a tractor? Anyone tried it with fine sand?
