Very new to the tractor world (I can fix a cpu, but tractors are the new hobby). I just had my tractor changed from a 6v to a 12 by an old timer who had her purring for me. HE also fixed a vapour lock issue where my tractor would run for approx 45 minutes and then shut off. I was using her to clear brush yesterday, and she shut off similar to the vapour lock issues from the time before. I went back today, and still she isn't turning over. I have had the carb redone last year and now a 12 volt system installed. What is the process (check a, b, c, etc) of narrowing down what could have shut her down this time? What do you guys do to check the small stuff 1st before you get into major tinkering (tinkering by a cpu nerd can be disastrous, but I'm still learning :)
