Maybe the fellow is away from home. I had a cow down once for about a week, I couldn't get her up and going, she was down in the back. Finally after 2 streroid shots she was so pissed at me she came at me and she was a new girl when she got up finally. I had a lot of folks stopping in concerned and it didn't bother me any. If the animal rights folks had come out they'd probably locked me up. I should add I fed and watered her daily.
