i have a 99 with a 6 speed with 189k on it and i love it its been well taken care of and only had to do minor repairs starter, wheel bearings and such... the body is perfect and i dont think i will ever buy another new truck. My dad has a 2001 f350 with a six speed with 80k and its like new never had a problem with it.. I would buy a 7.3 anyday over a new diesel... Also the 6speed trannys are pretty solid... f350 w/ 4.10's gets around 16 or 12 mpg with trailer. f250 with 3.73 gets close to 20mpg
