regarding my previous post and the folks that jumped in defending the dealers not wanting to violate policies.....
Just went to the main stihl USA website and explained the situation.....and got this answer....
Mr. N***,
We are in receipt of and thank you for your email. STIHL'S
policy is that the dealer must setup and demo straight the saw. Who they
sell to and how the do it is strictly up to them. Thank you again for
your email and if we can be of any further assistance please feel free

So relating that to the dealer I was trying to deal with, they want to have someone in thier store and drag things out long enough to try and push other sales more that they want a definate B&W quick sale.....
