Hello everyone. I bought a non running super c because I am not smart enough to buy running good tractors. The guy I bought it from said the camshaft gear was stripped and he already had bought a new hydraulic pump before deciding to sell it. I see camshaft gears and camshafts on eBay relatively cheap. Is there any reason not to just switch it out? Mating or bore problems?
I know the crank pulley is going to miserable. I will pull the pan and clean.
Is the reg c cam the same camshaft and gear? I hope the crank gear is good but will find out. I hope to make this into a decent belly mower tractor.
