Gonna look at a 986 that "slips" in low. Talking to a fellow that borrowed it from the dealer for a couple months. He said it was a very tight tractor. Worked great other than the T/A in low slipping, and the heater fan doesn't work. The tractor is fairly low hours and asking price is $7900 as is. Dealer said they would repair/replace the t/a and as long as it's apart they should replace the clutch. $3500-$5000 more to price. What usually causes these to go out and I also wonder if it is that big of deal. I know tons of '06's running around with the T/A not working as it should.
