For a heavy duty ta kit (t/a, mcv pump, quill, and gaskets) $1300. For the clutch kit (pressure plate, disk, release and pilot bearing) $300. Pto and pto bearing cage probably need replace and possibly shift parts and mcv rebuilt. I believe tractor vet pretty much hit the price dead on. I would find a back yard mechanic that deals with this sort of thing and doesn't charge $50 per hour.
