diesel power questions

i have a farmall 350 diesel with roosa master pump and i was wonderind if there is any way to get a little more power out of it?
it has a fresh motor job but ran out of money to do new pump and injectors but that is coming this winter. i dont have the correct pulley on the generator so the tach doesnt read correcty but i know that it turns over the rated rpms because it goes down the road about 25 mph.
when people talk about turning up the injector pump up is there more than just adding rpms?
any help would be appreciated thank you
